How information is handled on this website.
Information you provide
Listing applications collect your business name, applicant name, business email and phone, selected category and location, membership verification information, and your acknowledgments. Alliance applications can also include a description, website, social links, photos and a video link.
Contact forms collect your name, email and message. Chapter requests additionally collect your proposed community and Alliance membership email so DCCO can review eligibility.
What appears publicly
Only approved listings are published. Approved listings display the business name, business phone and business email along with the category and location. Approved Alliance profiles may display the additional business content you submit. Applicant names, membership verification notes, contact messages and admin review notes are not included in the public directory.
How we use it
Information is used to review membership, manage listings, respond to inquiries, handle chapter requests and operate the website. Submissions and review records are stored on the website’s hosting account. Authorized administrators can review them. Resend is used for transactional notification emails when connected; notification delivery is separate from saving your submission.
Cookies and outside services
The website uses an essential session cookie for form protection and administrator sign-in. It uses a hashed network identifier to limit excessive form and login attempts. The application removes those rate-limit records after 24 hours during subsequent requests. Hosting and security providers may maintain their own operational logs.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Business videos load from YouTube or Vimeo only when you choose to play them. External websites, including DCCO membership pages and maps, have their own privacy practices. This site does not add advertising trackers or an analytics service.
Corrections and questions
Contact [email protected] to request a correction or removal or ask about your information. Please include the business or request involved. Information may be retained while needed to operate the directory and maintain review records; no fixed automatic deletion schedule is currently applied to submissions.
